Garlic Croutons


1 clove of garlic
3 slices of thick bread
2 tablespoons (2x15ml) (1 fl.oz) of olive oil

  1. Cut garlic in half and rub over bread. Remove crusts from the bread.
  2. Cut bread into quarter inch squares
  3. Heat oil in a frying pan, add bread and fry until crisp and brown
    Drain on crumpled kitchen paper, serve hot
